At The Feet Of Jesus - Ollie

At the feet of Jesus is where every daughter of the King longs to be — resting, receiving, and being renewed as she basks in God’s Word, her true and vital necessity. This Women’s Bible Study is a Spirit-led gathering centered on God’s living Word, creating space for stillness, growth, and divine encounter. 38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore, tell her to help me.” 41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” — Luke 10:38-42

Doll Ministry

We are a gathering of creative servants who sew, stuff, and create stuffed dolls to give to the Police Department to give to children who are being removed from their homes in order to calm and comfort them in a time of confusion and fear. All who are interested in fellowship as we gather to stuff, sew, and glue hair on our dolls are also welcome to join! Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it." And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. ~ Mark 10:13-16 Children (age 10 or above) are welcome with parents, but no childcare is provided. Donations: Thank you so much for wanting to help this ministry! More than 1000 dolls have been given to children in crisis because of the generosity of people like you! We are very pleased that so many people want to give the Doll Ministry fabric, buttons, snaps, yarn and ribbon. Unfortunately because there is so much fabric scraps out there I have collected more than I could possibly use or store. We are always grateful for solid color doe suede or polar fleece. We can also use Velcro, elastic and stuffing. If you have any supplies you would like to donate, please call Kelly Johnson at 619-851-3240 to coordinate a time and place. We would love to meet you as well. Contact Kelly for more information! (619) 851-3240.

Freedom through Christ

Did you know you were created to live free. Our small group is a safe and encouraging space for anyone who desires to grow in the freedom and liberty God designed for His children. Together, we explore how to walk in lasting freedom through biblical truth, prayer, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. We address the strongholds and bondages that can affect believers—whether emotional, mental, spiritual, or practical—and learn how to stand firm in the freedom Christ has already won for us. As Scripture reminds us, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1). If you’re tired of feeling trapped by loneliness, rejection, depression, financial pressures, physical pain, unhealthy thoughts, or emotional heaviness, you don’t have to walk alone. Come be encouraged, equipped, and strengthened as we learn to walk together in the freedom found in Christ. You are welcome here. Let’s walk in freedom—together.

Healing University

Are you or someone you know in need of healing? Have you ever asked these questions: Does God always heal? Does God use sickness to teach? Is God waiting on a change in behavior before He heals? If healing is for all, why aren't all Christians healed when they pray? Isn't healing really just a natural result of positive thinking? If you have, you're not alone. But for most, the questions still linger. The correct answers to these and other questions will change the way you see God and your relationship with Him. They will lay the foundation for healing in your life or that of someone you love. We will be using Charis Bible College "Healing University" videos and handouts in this Group. Charis was founded by Andrew Wommack, and he, along with other great teachers are part of this series. Each week, we will watch a video, then talk through discussion questions. I believe you will be blessed and set free by hearing the truth based on the word of God. Here's an overview of where we're headed. Each week, the topics will be listed in the meeting invite, and handouts placed in the resource section for the meeting. Section 1—EXPECT: How to Believe for Healing Healing is available to you, but you must first believe that God wants you well. This section includes anointed teaching that proves healing is for everyone, that healing is physical as well as spiritual, and that God does not perfect and teach us through sickness. Let the Word of God dispel any doubt, and get ready to receive what God has provided! Section 2—EXPERIENCE: How to Receive Healing In Section 2, you will hear powerful teaching that will show you how to receive what God has provided for your physical, mental, and emotional needs. You will learn the power of your thoughts and words, the authority you have in Christ, and where faith comes from. Get ready to be transformed by God’s Word! Section 3—EMPOWER: How to Impart Healing to Others Do you wonder if God could possibly use you to bring healing to those who are hurting? The desire to see people healed is the compassion of God in your heart. This section contains Word-based teaching that will inspire you to step into a new dimension of living. As a born-again believer, you can be God’s channel of healing to many!

Mark's House Group

We are a mixed bunch from various walks & Rock Church campuses, and we have traditionally decided together what we want to study. Our goal is to come together once per month or so *in person* at Mark's house (hence the name of our group) for fellowship, BBQ, and prayer – the rest of the time we play it by ear, keeping our Zoom line open every Wednesday at 6:30pm for those who want to meet more frequently (we give priority to 1st Wednesday Prayer though!). Currently, we are examining some of the ideas found in the Book of Job and the relationship that God wants to have with Job – and us! Look at the way God says, “where were you when I created this? Where were you when I created that?” And instead of looking at it from the perspective of God trying to portray Himself as superior, but as Him taking pride in His accomplishments. And then examine the way He says, “where were you?” Look at it as God longing for someone to show it to, like a child who is showing a sand castle to a friend or a drawing to a parent. Can you see God saying, “I missed you?" And, "I wish you would have been there with me when I made the dinosaurs. Aren’t they amazing? I wish we could have hung out all day and created stuff together!” Be prepared to talk about this for a bit when you request to join. You will receive a Zoom once you are accepted as a new member. "I want to spend time with you and create things together!" ~ God

For those active duty Military members and their spouses/partners seeking fellowship among other military members, this group may be for you! If you are single or married, male or female, just come as you are; whether in uniform on a stressful day or in your gym clothes rattling that protein shake. You volunteered to join the world's greatest military AS well as having a heart for Christ. If you have no Christ-like influences in your life, if you left home and find yourself wondering, if you need that hug because see yourself tired/bleeding, if you're now fired up for what Jesus has done in your life, or wondering what all of this even means for you regarding who Jesus is and how does it even relate to the military; COME FIND OUT WHAT YOUR NEXT STEPS ARE AND TAKE BACK THE GROUND WHICH WAS ONCE LOST TO YOU. God has ordered your steps, your purpose, and your promise. It's time to fight in God's spiritual warfare and become/make disciples with your own special SALT; one scripture at a time. This bible study will be a blessing to all in attendance, from new believers to those who have been saved for years and are well-versed in scripture. We will be helpers one to another. Our prayer is that we will all grow closer to God with a clearer understanding of the Word of God. Each Tuesday night's study is a stand-alone study. Therefore, you will be able to join at any point. Our mission is to educate, equip, and empower women of God to reach their fullest potential in their spiritual walk and fulfill their God-given purpose in life. If unable to join in person, please join us on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83480965621?pwd=ZDdxT0YveURIM0J5RmJERUZyaldpdz09 Meeting ID: 834 8096 5621 Passcode: biblestudy

Soul Care

Soul Care is a transformational discipleship journey designed to help participants experience deeper intimacy with Jesus, healing from past wounds, freedom from strongholds, and lasting spiritual growth. Through biblical teaching, guided reflection, journaling, prayer, small group processing, and practical application, participants learn how to walk in the freedom Christ purchased for them. This class is offered in person only and is intentionally designed as a progressive journey from start to finish. Because each week builds upon the previous week, participants must begin with the class on opening night and commit to attending consistently throughout the entire semester. New participants will not be added once the class has begun, and we are unable to accommodate joining midway through the series. Dates: TUESDAYS, AUGUST 18th through DECEMBER 15th, 2026 (No class Thanksgiving week) We meet in Room 364 at the Point Loma Campus Before registering, please prayerfully consider whether you can commit to attending each Thursday during this season. We understand that life happens, but the greatest benefit comes from fully engaging in the entire process alongside your fellow classmates. Required Material: Soul Care by Dr. Rob Reimer (required for participation) Amazon Link: https://a.co/d/01oIoal7 Please purchase your copy before the first class and bring it with you each week. You do not need to read ahead. In fact, we ask that you do not read ahead, as we will move through the material together as a class, allowing space for discussion, prayer, reflection, and the work of the Holy Spirit along the way. If you are ready to invest in your spiritual growth, pursue healing, walk in greater freedom, and allow Jesus access to the deeper places of your heart, we would love to have you join us for this journey.

The Power of a Praying Wife

Life can be pretty "interesting" on its own. Combined with marriage, you may find yourself facing some unique challenges--challenges allowing doubt to come in, making you feel like giving up, or perhaps wondering if you are unyoked. Regardless of where you and your husband are on this journey, 1 Corinthians 7:14 tells us: "the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband." God calls us to pray for our husbands and allow Him to do the miracles needed to renew our marriages. Our group will focus on 31 ways we can pray for our husbands using the book “The Power of a Praying Wife” by Stormie Omartian. Join us for fellowship with other women who are facing unique challenges as well -- you are not alone. Let's come together to activate God’s Word in our lives, as well as our husbands' and expect miracles to happen in our marriages. May we use this opportunity to see our husbands through the eyes of Jesus.
